Park Policies

Hurricane Alley Waterpark is a family park, so guests should behave accordingly. Violating our policies may be cause for ejection from the park without refund.

SEASON PASSES

A season pass is only allowed for the use of one person. All passes must be processed during the first visit of the season. Season pass cards without a picture printed, passes from previous seasons or passes that are being used by anyone other than the pass holder are not allowed. For replacement season pass cards, it is a $5 fee per card.

BEHAVIOR
We expect all guests to behave in a family-friendly manner. Line jumping, profanity, and unruly behavior are offensive to park guests and may be cause for ejection without refund. Guests are not permitted to save places in line, bypass others in line, or exit the line and return to the same place for any reason. Guests exiting the line must go to the back of the line if they choose to return.

AGE RESTRICTIONS
Parents must use their best judgement when allowing their children to visit our park unaccompanied. However, we do ask that anyone under the age of 14 be accompanied by a chaperone 16 or over. If a child comes to the park without a chaperone or guardian, we ask that they do have a way of contacting their parents and that they have a ride to pick them up at the end of the day.

DRESS CODE
In keeping with our family-friendly atmosphere, and for health and safety reasons, Hurricane Alley Waterpark strictly enforces a dress code. Proper swimwear is required. Swimwear with rivets or any other metal ornamentation is not permitted on the water slides. Tattoos and clothing with rude, vulgar or offensive language and graphics are not permitted, and shirts may not be turned inside out as a solution. Park admission may be denied if clothing is deemed by management to be inappropriate.

LANGUAGE
Guests using profanity or abusive language, symbols or gestures may be ejected from the park without refund.

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is permitted only in areas identified as designated smoking areas. All other areas in Hurricane Alley Waterpark are smoke-free, smoking is strictly prohibited. Hurricane Alley Waterpark prohibits smoking on all rides, attractions and in shops and restaurants. Underage smoking is not permitted.

PETS
Pets are not allowed, with the exception of working service animals.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are not permitted at any time:

  • Food/Coolers (except medically necessary or infant food)

  • Lawn/folding chairs

  • Umbrellas

  • Magic markers and spray paint

  • Aerosol cans

  • Glass bottles

  • Knives

  • Spiked clothing/jewelry

  • Fireworks/explosives

  • Firearms/ammunition

  • Chemical weapons, mace/pepper spray

  • Water Bottles

  • Speakers

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Alcohol purchased in the park must be consumed at Hurricane Alley Waterpark. No alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought into the park.

RE-ENTRY
To leave the park and re-enter the same day, please get your hand stamped and re-enter at the re-entry gate. This includes Season Pass holders. Season passes can only be scanned once per day.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Cameras may not be permitted on thrill rides. Please check at ride entrances regarding camera policies for each ride. Hurricane Alley Waterpark requests that all photographs or videos taken by guests be used for their personal use and enjoyment only. Any use, reuse or reproduction for commercial purposes without the express written consent of Hurricane Alley Waterpark is prohibited.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
For your safety, certain rides and attractions may need to close during electrical storms, heavy rain, high winds and other severe weather conditions. Most shops and restaurants will remain open. As soon as conditions permit safe operation, rides and attractions will re-open. Hurricane Alley Waterpark does not issue rain check or refunds for inclement weather.


Ride Policies

RIDER RESPONSIBILITY
There is an inherent risk in participating in any amusement ride. We expect riders to exercise good judgment and act in a responsible manner. Guests must also obey all oral and written warnings and properly use all ride safety equipment provided. Guests who do not comply with ride rules may be ejected from the park without a refund. Please refer to specific guidelines posted at the entrance of each ride.

RIDE RESTRICTIONS
Safety is our number one priority. Guests with certain body proportions, heights or weights may not be able to enjoy certain rides if the safety restraints will not operate as designed.

HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS

  • Cat 5: 48 inches

  • Momentum: 42 inches

  • Storm Chaser: 36 inches

  • Shredder: 42" to body board, 48" to flowboard

As a matter of park policy for any pools, children under 48" must be within arm’s reach of an adult while in a pool (wave pool, lazy river, swim-up bar area). This does not apply to catch pools, splash pads, or Captain Kids Cove.

LINE JUMPING
Line jumping is strictly prohibited. Guests are not permitted to save places in line or exit the line and return for any reason. Violators will be ejected without a refund.

LOOSE ARTICLES
Loose articles are not permitted on most rides and should be left with non-riders or secured in lockers. Hurricane Alley Waterpark and its employees are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

OUTSIDE FLOTATION DEVICES
Flotation devices used at Hurricane Alley Waterpark must be Coast Guard-approved lifesaving devices.
